BBC INVESTIGATE BANKSY IDENTITY
The BBC have just released a report in which they claim to have discovered one of Banksy’s previous residences in Bristol. The report shows an out building of the property, which has an early Banksy signature sprayed inside. According to the BBC, they have looked through the housing records and now know who the owner was, but the current owners would rather it remained a secret.

POSSIBLE BOOK OF ‘BANKSY VS BRISTOL MUSEUMEXHIBITION
A freedom of information request has been submitted to the Bristol City Council and various documents, emails and contracts have been made available, or be it with certain parts blacked out.
One interesting thing uncovered is a mention to a possible book of the exhibition.

VENUE MAGAZINE BANKSY FEATURE
This week’s issue (14 – 23 August) of Venue magazine has a special feature about Banksy and his current exhibition, Banksy vs Bristol Musuem. The most interest part is where Mike White, Venue’s writer, tries to get details about how the exhibition came about from people within Bristol Museum.

It seems that some people feel strongly that the Banksy exhibition should be extend beyond the actual close date of 31 August.

OXFAM MAKE £15,000 FROM BANKSY MERCHANDISE
The Oxfam shop across from the Banksy exhibition, which received an anonymous donation of Banksy merchandise (mostly stickers and postcards), have announced that they have now completely sold-out.
